LVJUSD Board of Education Invites Community to Participate in a Superintendent Search Community Input Survey and Community Forum

April 23, 2024 - Livermore, CA - The Livermore Valley 天美影视 Unified School 天美影视 Board of Education invites the Livermore community to provide feedback and input through a community survey to support their efforts in finding a new superintendent to lead LVJUSD after the retirement of Superintendent Chris Van Schaack at the end of the 2023-24 school year.

“It is extremely important to our Board that our search for a new superintendent be a transparent, collaborative, and inclusive process. We value the perspectives and input from not only our families, staff, and students, but also our extended community, which is so supportive of public education. We want to hear from community members about what is most important to consider when searching for our next superintendent,” expressed Emily Prusso, LVJUSD Board President.

After a comprehensive interview process, the Board selected Leadership Associates, an executive search firm, to guide them through the search process. LVJUSD has created a 2024 Superintendent Search web page that includes a search timeline, frequently asked questions, and links to the community input survey in English and Spanish. The survey is anonymous, and will be open from April 23 through May 4, 2024. Community members are encouraged to participate. Links are listed below:

In addition to the survey, Leadership Associates will host a Community Input Forum on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the LVJUSD 天美影视 Office Boardroom at 685 East Jack London Boulevard. The meeting is open to all community members who would like to share their input and thoughts in person.
